Wk 39 June 3rd. - 7th

Thank you for taking the time to read our last blog post for the 17 - 18 school year. An amazing school year has come to an end, and it is with mixed feelings that we say goodbye to our wonderful students. For us as teachers, it has been an absolute pleasure to guide and witness the incredible growth in their abilities and confidence; but also see them moving on to continue their learning journey in second grade. We have some friends that are moving to other countries to start other adventures, we will miss them dearly and we wish them the best of lucks!
We want to thank all the parents, we couldn't have done it without your help, you are amazing!

Grade up visit

This past week we visited 2nd. grade classrooms to have a sneak peak of what we will be coming to in August, it was super exciting and students got to see their potential classrooms and meet the teachers. Also KG classes came to our rooms and we welcomed them and we got them all excited about moving on to First Grade next year!

Dear parents, we are counting on your support to help us collect back all the books that our avid readers have taken home. Whether they are library books, guided reading books, Classroom library books, independent reading books....we need them all back :). Please take this week to look around your house and send them all back in their take-home folder.
Thank you!!

End of the Year Celebration

We had our last party of the year today, and it was a great success. We started our day with "Maker Play" activities, where our students participated in hands-on activities and used their imaginations; after that we had snack recess and came back to the classroom to watch a movie. Right after the movie, we had our parties where we had several activities to do. We closed the day at the pool with Comando Water Fun, we had a blast!

Report Cards

Please make sure that you have returned all your books in. Report cards will be issued only for students that have returned all their books and have cleared their accounts. If a book cannot be found, an invoice will be issued and this needs to be paid in order to get the report card. If you have not received an email from the library, that means that you are good to go!

Lost Property

Final plea to check lost property before the end of school.
All remaining items will be boxed on Wednesday, 6 June and given to charity. Encourage your child to pass by the tables and racks.
